My 2003 Thunderbird belonged to my good golfing buddy of many years. Unfortunately he passed away from ALS (Low Gehrig’s disease) in October, 2011. After about two years his wife decided to sell his beloved Thunderbird. I considered buying it, but figured I was too old to get involved with a sports car. However; after giving it some thought I gave in and bought the ten year old Thunderbird. It was July of 2013. The car had just over 31,000 miles. It turns out I am the 4th owner. It spent its first year as a rental in North Carolina (11,000 miles). It was then owned by a couple in Forrest Hill, Maryland (3,000 miles). My friend Dave was the 3rd owner (17,000 miles in 8 years). He took exceptional care of the Thunderbird. It was never driven on any undesirable road and never in the rain or foul weather. Last summer I had the car professionally detailed with clay bar and buffing etc. The Thunderbird is very clean and in great mechanical condition. My wife and I are looking forward to many enjoyable miles.
