On a dreary, rainy day, May 5 2024, MATC joined LVTC for a road trip to the Boyertown Historic Vehicle Museum. There were 25 people total who braved the weather. Thanks to Mike Melnyk who arranged a guided tour of the old body-building facility that was converted to a museum in 1990. They had vehicles and memorabilia from carriages and horse driven hearses to award winning cars and trucks, most donated or found in the Berks Co, PA area. There was a gas station and diner too! The docents were extremely knowledgeable and it was a very interesting tour, covering 3 floors of a huge building. Then we headed to the nearby Americana Diner for some wonderful comfort food, perfect for a rainy day.
